COOKIES

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer to help us provide you with a better experience when you visit us. In general, cookies are used to recognize you when you visit us again, and they can help with such things as remembering the contents of a shopping cart or providing completely anonymous data to third-party applications such as Google Analytics. Cookies will make your browsing experience better. If you do not wish to receive cookies, you can turn them off. The easiest way to do this is to disable cookies in your browser.

How we use cookies

We use cookies for several reasons, which are shown below. In most cases, there is no default option to reject cookies without disabling features, so we recommend that you always have all cookies turned on for this site. You can always opt to reject cookies later, so your choice is not final.

When you submit data to a form such as those found on contact pages or contact forms, cookies may be set to remember your user information for future correspondence.
  • Site preference cookies

  • Cookies related to comments
When visitors post comments on the site, we collect the data displayed in the comment form with the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string, to help detect spam.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you use it. Gravatar’s Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture will be visible to the public along with your comment. These cookies will last for one year.
  • Cookies related to media
If you upload images to the site, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the site can download and extract all location data from images on the site.

How do we protect your personal data?

Your personal data is secured by a strong firewall both in the hosting and on the website itself. In addition, your personal data will be encrypted using our SSL certificate from input to delivery in our inbox, when using contact forms. As Dansk Plast A/S is a company with many employees, Director Klaus W. Sørensen has ensured that all employees are up-to-date with encryption and security procedures in cooperation with the web developer and hosting company.
In case of 3 errors in entering username and/or code, the website will inform the hosting company, an intrusion check will be run and an extra layer of security will be added in the form of various captcha tests.

What data breach procedures do we have in place?
In the event of a data breach, direct telephone and written contact with the web developer, mail and hosting company will ensure that the breach is closed as soon as possible.
