Hybridfiltre
In 2018, Mariagerfjord Spildevand faced the need for a stable and long-lasting solution for treating process air from both the pump station and the inlet. Space around the installation was limited, so the new solution had to combine a compact design with high operational reliability.

Reliable and space-saving air treatment

The solution selected was BioMax1200, a compact unit with a documented long service life and effective biological and chemical treatment. The filter fit seamlessly into the limited installation area and was dimensioned for an airflow of 1,200 m³/h.

Since installation, BM1200 has delivered stable operation and required minimal maintenance—the filters have only been replaced once over the entire period from 2018 to the present day.

Operation and performance

The hybrid filter handles an average H₂S concentration of 25–30 ppm without operational issues, and the stable temperature conditions (16–19 °C) have supported consistently high treatment efficiency.

Long-term consumption of filter mats is significantly lower than with traditional solutions, reducing both operating costs and the need for service visits.
