Dehumidifier ensures stable air quality, reduced odor nuisances, and longer service life for carbon filters

Customer
GreenLab Biogas
Industry
Hybridfiltre
GreenLab Biogas experienced major issues with high humidity in their process air. This led to condensation, rapid saturation of carbon filters, and increased odor nuisances. To establish stable operating conditions and improve filtration performance, they installed an MBS Dehumidifier based on two-stage heat exchange technology.

Stable operation and reduced odor nuisances with a dehumidifier

The dehumidifier effectively reduces moisture in the process air by cooling the air, condensing the water, and returning dry, reheated air to the system. The result is significantly improved operating conditions for both carbon and hybrid filters.

Benefits:

  • Up to 441 liters of moisture removed per day

  • Reduced load on carbon filters and extended service life

  • Reduced condensation and corrosion

  • Stable humidity levels and more efficient filtration

  • Low energy consumption (approx. 500 W per 1,200 m³/h)
